				<description>&#060;p&#062;For what it’s worth I just had an excellent experience with UPS.  The delivery address was wrong and it was a new address as they recently moved. I called customer service the morning the day of delivery to correct the address and the package came to the right address, also at an apartment building and someone put it in the hall, right outside their door.

The clerks will sign, receive and store your packages for you. There is an annual fee and limited to post office hours but it has been a positive experience. The physical address is used for ordering. Now that I have the packages figured out, the paper mail at my apartment is not being delivered that’s on informed delivery…

There are 4 entrances to our apartment building - some deliveries are fine, some lost forever.&#060;br /&#062;Some packages were left on the floor next to package concierge thing&#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;( I guess it was full and going to the door was too much to ask for ).&#060;br /&#062;One package was delivered 4 months later than &#034;delivered to locker&#034; appeared on the tracking link.

Driver left it there rather than find the house. Took me and Lilypup an hour to walk it all the way up the hill. 				<description>&#060;p&#062;I haven't had problems with UPS except for one notable exception earlier this year. My husband and I ordered a 55&#034; television, which was scheduled to be delivered in the late afternoon. I live in a condo and delivery drivers use the outside call box, which is programmed to our cell phones, to notify residents of a delivery. My phone must have been on mute when the driver called me. Instead of leaving a door tag letting me know they would attempt a delivery the next day, the driver left my television outside of my building (it had snowed recently) where it was visible to anyone! Two guys with a pickup truck could have easily stolen it and condos in my neighborhood are frequent targets. I complained to UPS and within 10 minutes, a local supervisor reached out to me and was sincerely apologetic. I told the supervisor I just want make sure the driver doesn't make the same error again.

But this should make you laugh: My last place, we had a delivery guy who’d put packages under your doormat to ‘hide’ them… so, like, imagine a box the size of fridge with your doormat thrown on top! kkards, I think we were posting at the same time. Even with an account, I couldn't change the delivery until after an attempt was made, and not all options were available. Now I have three different packages that will be at three different access points. At least I have a chance of receiving them now.

If you are you can sign up for and ask them to leave your packages, you can also have packages delivered to a UPS store or change the delivery day.&#060;br /&#062;i am not currently having issues, but i did a few years ago. Since then my building has installed a camera. And i signed up for UPS, not sure which made the change&#060;br /&#062;i will also note that some retailers require you to sign…its not always UPS or FedEx’s choice.&#038;nbsp;

Tonight, I was able to log into my UPS account and change my settings so that all future deliveries go to an access point a few miles away that is open late enough that I can get packages after work.&#060;br /&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;My guess is that the driver has had enough difficulty delivering in the past that he/she doesn't even try it anymore, which is why there is no sticky. I would call UPS and complain. I can understand having difficulty physically delivering a package when you have a security door, but not leaving a sticky is not OK. That's part of their job.

&#060;p&#062;Now I'm doubly grateful for our UPS driver.&#038;nbsp; We live in a house, and have had the same driver for years. He knows us well and our buying habits ;-)&#038;nbsp; And DH and I are home almost every day too.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;FI&#038;nbsp; - we do get UPS emails and texts with delivery updates.&#038;nbsp; Unfortunately UPS is not as savvy as Fedex with being able to change delivery times and locations.&#038;nbsp; I think it also depends on the driver.&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;We live on the ground floor and often take packages for neighbors who aren’t home. There are times I wonder if the driver has actually tried delivering to the neighbor first, or if they just want to dump things. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I remember the frustration of needing the number from the note I didn’t have. I think I eventually started typing in numbers from old deliveries, just to get past that step and be able to talk to a person. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;That access point sounds inconvenient. Can you have things delivered to the store for pick-up? &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;UPS can do better. I get emails telling me how to track my packages, then a message the day before it’s delivered with a time range when it’ll be dropped off, another message when it’s almost here, and one more that says it was dropped off. I had assumed those were things developed for the American market. Apparently not! Sorry about that.

I know that my UPS driver has a hard time accessing my building (it's got a locked security door without buzzers on the outside). I have tried propping the security door open, leaving a note on it, etc...my neighbors close it anyway. The Amazon driver always seems to deliver his packages, so I'm not sure why UPS has such a hardtime (generally, a bang on the gate and a shout of &#034;delivery&#034; brings someone out) But the UPS driver doesn't leave the sticky notes that let you know he was there....and I don't believe he is actually making 3 attempts before sending things back. I am starting to choose to pick up my packages at an access point if that is an option when I order, but it isn't always an option. When I saw that one of my recent orders was coming UPS, I tried to change the delivery. That wasn't an option until they had made a delivery attempt. Fine. I checked my package today, and they had attempted delivery....no sticky on my door. I called the customer service line and listened to a recorded voice tell me about how I could use the  number on the sticky to change my delivery. It finally said that changing my delivery was now an option...but that there was a charge for most access points (reduced fees available online, but since I don't have the number from the sticky, I can't do it online). So, to avoid the $7 pick up fee, now I am going to have to drive half an hour away on Saturday to get my package. All of this seems ridiculous to me. Is anyone else having issues?
