Our wonderful pug Bing Bing had several of those mast cell tumors and alas, she did cross Rainbow Bridge after four years of dealing with them. She was 14. We have three pugs now, Helio and Raven, both 10, and Zing, 14 months. Don’t know if this is an option for you, but with my old man pug I had to learn to express his bladder because of his hind end paralysis. It’s rough going. She seems uncomfortable and has trouble standing up. I have to walk her around with a makeshift sling, but even so, she has peed her bed twice already. She ate a little bit of food tonight and took her pills, so that’s good. </p> <p>I’m remembering that it was this pitiful when our old dog Rocky had spinal surgery and we first brought him home (but hauling a 70 lb dog out to use the potty is a lot harder than a 15 lb dog). But he eventually sprang back and had about three more years with us. She was a level level grade 2 tumor and she lived almost an additional 4 years before it came back.&nbsp;</p> <p>Just wondering if your Sophie is on a daily regimen of benadryl ?
