Hi,
I never thought I would find boots to fit my slim calfs but I just did. Take a look at these two:
1.Blondo Women's Providence Boot at Endless.com that ships worldwide - they are taller than knee-high but not quite thigh-high. It may have a 14.5" boot opening but the calf area is definitely smaller and would have to be to fit me (12.5" calf size). Soft waterproof suede and very comfortable. Got them in the black leather too.
2. Blondo Women's Pasadena Knee-High Boots also from Endless.com. I liked the suede better than the leather but won't be keeping them as the calf is between 13.5"-14"
3. Also try DUO in the UK http://www.duoboots.com/?deliv_country=US where you can order boots according to your calf size and they ship worldwide.

Hope the above helps.

I found the perfect boot from SkinnyLegBoots.com. I've always wanted a boot that actually fit my calf. I was ready to order from a European company but I stumbled on SkinnyLegBoots that actually fit my ankle, too!! Ordered it at the beginning of last week and got it on the weekend. I was sooo excited to try it on!! Put it on and FABULOUS!! Can't wait to wear it to work!! I wear a standard size 7 and the 37 was perfect. Also, they have excellent customer service!! Will definitely repurchase!! It is very pricey but until other boot companies realize that we skinny leg gals like to wear boots, too, I will only purchase from the SkinnyLegBoot company. Check it out!!

We just launched a new line called Skinny Leg Boots to address this very issue. Just like the name, they are made for women with very narrow legs. What makes them different than what is already out there on the market? 1. They are crafted from high quality suede and they are made in Spain. 2. All boots ranging in European sizes 36-43 have the same narrow shaft and ankle circumference ensuring a snug fit. 3. They have a side zipper that runs from the top of the boot to the bottom of the foot so that they are easy to take off and slide on. Please take a look at our website http://www.skinnylegboots.com and browse our store.

Glad to help. I understand that suede may not stand up to Seattle's rainy weather, but with waterproofing (the kind that comes in a spray bottle, or ask your shoe repair person!) suede can stand up to dry snow, like we get in the Midwest. Our suede killer is road salt, but if you brush the boots frequently (you can get a special brush or use a fingernail brush, like I do) you can keep suede looking good. A little more effort than leather, but worth it if the boots fit a not-so-standard leg and foot.

I'll report on the comfort as soon as I try them--hoping for good news!

Thank you for posting these boots. Like Juli I'd hoped to leather that's not suede but narrow boots are hard to find and the style, etc. is great. I'll try to get to DSW to try on in person. Please let us know if you find these comfortable 8-hour boots.

I like these boots and would get them if they weren't suede. They are very cute! I don't think it's feasible in Seattle. I'm trying to hold out for the waterproof suede La Canadienne's once I save up enough $$$. Shana what boots did you find? Are they suede? I've been trying on lots of boots and they are all too wide and gappy at the top. I measured the largest part of my calf and it's 13". Is that considered standard?

Yahoo! I'm glad that you found some boots that work! As you know, I had the same struggle so I can empathize on how hard it is. I have been wearing my boots non-stop and I almost think I should have duplicated as well!

I'm camera-shy, so no pics quite yet. My calf circumference is 12-1/2", but these fit comfortably (not snug or skin tight) on the leg. I measured the boots and the circumference is 13"--not the 14-1/2 listed on the site. I wonder where they got the bigger number. . .The reviews mention that the calf size is narrow, which clued me into trying these. Hope that helps you!

Garmenta, thanks for posting this! I'm quite interested. Do you mind if I ask what your calf circumference is? The DSW site says these boots have a 14.5" circumference, which is not super tiny - did you find that number to be inaccurate?

I would also love it if you could post photos....

I found some! I took them home and will "test drive" them to make sure they stay comfortable on. If anyone else is still searching, they are Kelly & Katie Jade riding boots at DSW (http://www.dsw.com/dsw_shoes/c.....and=300191). More casual than dressy, with a low lug heel, a rounded toe, a strap around the ankle, and a little knit band at the top to keep them in place. Suede, but okay for drier climates and also okay in wetter ones if you waterproof like mad.

I got both the black and the brown. They hit nicely below the knee and make my calves look proportional. Never thought I would find mass-produced boots to fit my slender, slender calf! Just delighted!
