I've been away from YLF for a while, and Angie has reminded me that I owe you an update, so here goes. </p> <p>Some of you might remember that I went to a wedding back home in Canada last month- I asked for your advice about my dress <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/this-black-dress-for-a-wedding-pics">here</a>, and accessories <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/im-back-help-me-choose-a-belt">here</a>. The whole trip ended up being fantastic- I got to see my family, lots of old friends, and (obviously) got to dress up! </p> <p>Unfortunately, I don't have any great photos from the night. My own camera conked out so I've been patiently waiting for the pro pics to go up on the photographer's blog. I know there will be several of me there, which I'll post when I can get to them. In the meantime, here are some random iphone/facebook photos, from my boyfriend and friends. </p> <p>Us before we left the hotel. In the end I liked the more modern look, especially since my shoes were retro-ish and my bag was vintage- a 1920's one Andrew gave me years ago. Also, the gunmetal trim on the buckle perfectly matched the metal in my vintage necklace, which I borrowed from my sister. All in all, I had very little financial outlay for this outfit! </p>
