That's one reason I don't care for harnesses and straps on boots. I will say, these Ariat boots didn't make my feet look big. They're really cute boots. These really are lovely boots. And I love the color. Someone else described their feet as low volume. That's my feet. I wear size 10 yet my feet are kind of skinny. Even with my usual hiking socks, these are very loose on my feet. They were delivered yesterday. They are beautiful, and the color is a lovely grey, not black. Perfect!</p> <p>However, they don't fit! My other Ariats are snug across the instep, and feel wonderful. These are very loose. They have little side zippers, but I don't need to unzip them to take them off. Sadly, I'm going to have to return them. </p>
