Maybe you have a future as a tv series writer or a mystery novelist! : P</p> <p>I have this image of you walking the hallway in your scrubs when who should come round the corner...THE BOY! Luckily you have your mask on and he can't see your slight gasp of glee as he greets you with his pretty boy smile. He does however see the startled, widening of your eyes which then softens to what he perceives (and hopes) is you smiling behind that mask. After a polite but brief conversation, you give him one last ocular smile as you head to the doctor's lounge. There you catch your breath and relive the chance encounter with the boy. Then somthing catches the corner of your eye and you realize there is a heart-shaped cheesecake with your name on it from an anonymous gifter.<br /> "Hey, wasn't the boy just exiting the lounge when I bumped into him?" You try hard but can't be sure if you recalled correctly. The possibility of that thought puts butterflies in your stomach. Suddenly your cell phone rings....</p> <p>Turns out it's microwave boy asking you to go rock climing with him this weekend! Your mind goes blank but you quickly recover and confirm that you don't already have plans and that yes, you look forward to learning "the ropes." (You cringed at how corny that sounded, but are relieved to hear him laugh heartily.) As you hang up with microwave boy, you take your first bite of the mystery cheesecake. Mmmm....life is good! </p> <p>Hee-hee! How's that? The need to wear surgical greens every day makes me want to shop for things that are Fitted and Fabulous, but the amount of hours I put in while wearing those surgical greens makes me wanna curl up in bed and ZZZZ instead of going shopping (excellent for SYC!)</p> <p>Because we are all in greens and have a mask on all day, I've started to get lazy with makeup. Very lazy. One morning, I decided just to use some moisturizer and get my bum into my greens and into the OR soon, because I wanted to help out the anesthesiologist with a few things. Unfortunately,who do I run into, but THE BOY. The boy, you see, is not on surgery rotation, so he's all dressed up and smiles his gorgeous smile and I instantly get palpations and think that my heart went into overdrive. *sigh*</p> <p>There should be a law against looking that gorgeous.</p> <p>The Boy may have a kinder heart than I thought he had at first. I am highly skeptical he is more than a pretty face,especially since he hasnt' called me (smart boys I expect to call!) - but he's apparently very good in the department of bedside manner (haha, I told someone this and bedSIDE was not what they heard) - and is very compassionate. </p> <p>*dreamy sigh*</p> <p>I'm finished trauma surgery now; working on lots and lots of rectums...</p> <p>PS: Someone mysterious baked me a heart shaped cheesecake. It was slightly melted by the time I was done work that day. Very yummy. Chocolate mocha swirl. Tee hee.</p> <p>Much love,<br /> Lyn </p>
