The sedation levels have been reduced and she is now awake. She has started to have PT and respitory therapy. Some ribs were broken and her lung damaged so work is needed to remove fluid from her lung. Unfortunately she is having a tough time swallowing so a temporary feeding tube is now in place.. She has already had a major surgery involving skin grafts.<br /> The upset about what has happened to her is now in full force , this was a vibrant 21 year old girl who now has a huge mountain to climb to even get home never mind back to college and her life. Continue to send positive vibes please. </p>
