I’m glad you are giving US a try. “My first thought was, most of this is too edgy for me, a pretty modern classic dresser. But I think the items I chose are simple enough that they'd have longevity in my closet.” That sums up my experience with them too. I’d also add that I’ve been bowled over by the cuts of most of the items I try, even those I assumed were not my style (like the Geneva dress!) Please let me know what you think of the loungewear. I haven’t tried it yet. V-Rex is expensive but VERY high quality. The sleeve length is a little longer than most tees, the fabric is soft but has enough integrity that I don’t worry about lines/rolls showing through, and with HEAVY wear and laundering mine from early 2018 still look new. Have not tried those dresses because I like a little more length, hope to see them on you! Tried the tunic and it is BEAUTIFUL, nice fabric and gorgeous color, but the waist hit me in the wrong spot. I’m 5’5”, very short/high waisted, and large hips, so it created a fabric bulge in back that I wasn’t fond of. Universal Standard is new to me, but I've seen some mentions here, most recently from Kari who wore a dress to NYC for an event (and looked smashing!).  For those who follow Alison at Wardrobe Oxygen, I think that's how I learned of the brand. My first thought was, most of this is too edgy for me, a pretty modern classic dresser.  But I think the items I chose are simple enough that they'd have longevity in my closet. A few things stand out, wondered if anyone has experience with them?  Specifically since they're mostly knitwear, the quality issue is important ... I'm looking at you H&M!  The loungewear kit piques my interest for sure.
