Yes, I did make the overalls, possibly 20 years ago, or 15? I used a historical reproduction pattern and striped denim, for my husband to wear in a musical show. He may have worn them a couple of times for Halloween since then. Found them while doing closet purge/reorg last week and it struck me that wider leg, high water, overalls are kind of in style. &nbsp;All I had to do was move the buttons higher on the straps and take a little dart in the back between the straps. New pants!&nbsp;</p> <p>It was amusing that he actually recognized them when I wore them the other day. He didn’t mind that I stole and altered them.&nbsp;</p> <div>This is probably the pattern, but my version had the front patch pockets. Super easy construction with the side openings being faced and then overlapped to make a little pleat. The red plaid flannel hoodie was my annual red for basketball team purchase, but I chose to wear pullover sweaters over long sleeve shirts to every game as it was a cold winter. But it’s cozy and handy for temperature control at home.</p> <p>The second photo is a top I just made with peacock print cotton. I like the rolled up sleeve design, and plan to make this again. It was a semi-fun challenge because I was short on fabric, but was able to piece the lower third of the sleeves with scraps and fortunately that works with the busy print! All that seaming is concealed by the roll, and on the inside by the faced lower sleeve. </p>
