For myself, if I have to go commando at all, like if I miscalculated how many pair to take while traveling, I’d skip them in jeans and wear the one remaining pair to work out. But then again, the leggings I wear aren’t designed for commando use. Most of the time I wear shorts anyway, and the legs are wide enough that undies aren’t optional. I started going commando when I started cycling and wearing padded chamois leggings. And with my body type, it’s almost inevitable for any underwear to create VPL under even substantial tight workout pants. I feel and look much better without underwear with those pants! I do however have Lululemon and Icebreaker underwear for my hiking pants and shorts.
