The bedroom&nbsp;fluorescent&nbsp;lights make them look pretty hideous, but the warm living room lights look great. The natural light pics look good, but the flash pics make me wrinkle my nose. How funny!<br /><br />I finally broke down and asked DH, figuring he'd reject them right away... but he says they are "better than some of those other jeans you've been wearing, but still not as good as your old ones." Meaning the SBFs versus bootcut jeans (his fave, which I wore for him today).&nbsp;<br /><br />I'm still on the fence - too much info to process for one night. And since it's an even exchange for other stuff in my wardrobe, still allowed under my weird personal terms of SYC (got a <i>really</i> good deal!).&nbsp;They are a size down from my current ones, but I went for it because the measurements I'd found were the same. There was no 27 in this color/fabric.<br /><br />These tick off a lot of my Imaginary Perfect White Jeans boxes - 100% cotton, thick fabric, loose-but-still-slim fit, off white... but the burning question is: how do they look? My main concern is probably the dreaded crotch area - too much fold? plum-smuggling potential? All in all, I think they will fit the same after the fabric relaxes/stretches, but the whiskering on my blue ones disguises it better.&nbsp;<br /><br />WDYT? I admit I've had a bad relationship with white jeans in the past, so I'm not the best judge right now. I have 14 days to return.&nbsp;
