Glad I could help! I sometimes order from Amazon.co.uk, that's why I thought of it. And I like that I can use my regular account for it. Josef Seibel seems to make many of their women's shoes up to a size 45... And because it's a German brand the German Amazon stocks quite a few of the shoes. Oh and my comment about the color not being a current season color - I just wanted to say that they are selling off the remaining stock and I guess that means limited sizes available and fewer stores offering a certain color.

By the way, another good brand for large sizes is Gabor. They offer a lot of their shoes in both small and large sizes. I have a friend who wears a size 46 and a lot of her "pretty" shoes are Gabor.

Astrid, you found an even better option! Though I do a ton of shopping on Amazon, I never thought to check Amazon in other countries. I don't mind that the silvery color at After 8 is not a current season color, but the navy would actually be more useful in my wardrobe.

I checked amazon.co.uk, and it seems to have the same stock as amazon.de, but after doing the math on shipping, exchange rates, etc., amazon.de is the cheaper option (by $26 USD!). And both are still cheaper than the price with free shipping on amazon.com, where they don't (and probably never did) have my size. Browsing around on amazon.de, I see that larger sizes seem to be more readily available, at least in my not entirely random sampling. I will be keeping this in mind for the future!

Diane, It's also good to know that After 8 Shoes is not some fly-by-night establishment, as they could be a good option in the future.

I haven't personally used the website, but I have heard of it. I recognised the name from somewhere and did a search. Its the sister company of one that specialises in slim and longer shoe styles. Here's the other website with a little explanation :http://www.kpegroup.co.uk/about_us.html

I notice on After 8 that they do international shipping, but it's mentioned in terms of zones, so like yourself I assume USA is one of those zones.

The company has been around for a while so I see no reason why it shouldn't be ok for you to use them.

I have no experience with the website. How committed are you to this color? It doesn't seem to be part of the current range offered, at least the official Josef Seibel online store doesn't offer any metallics.

http://www.josefseibelshop.de/.....?q=Caspian

Amazon.de has a blue pair in size 43 for 55€ and is shipping to the USA.

https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/.....#038;psc=1

And this black and silver one, in a 43 for 45€:

https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/.....#038;psc=1

Hi everyone (and especially those in the UK).

I am loving the look of the Josef Seibel "Caspian" shoe, but much to my disappointment, size 42 (the largest I can find on US sites) is still too short for me, even though it is billed as 11-11.5 in US sizes and I am typically a size 11.

Because I hate to give up on a shoe I want, I hunted around the Internet and found a site that does carry the Caspian -- After 8 Shoes in the UK ( http://www.after8shoes.co.uk/c.....ian-silver )

Anyone have experience with this company, and in particular their website? They seem to do international shipping, so I'm hoping that means the USA is included. Dare I give them my credit card details?
