I try to not turn the furnace on before October, and later if possible. So far I'm on track. My first day of high school I went in my heavy winter coat. We had had a blizzard. That was mid-September, mind you. We started later than the other schools because the professional football team rented the school residence and fields for their training camp. We students did not complain about that.</p> <p>I did once see snowflakes in August, but they were just sparkles in the air. Have seen dumps like that in May though.
