I agree not so great with dressier “ garden party “ outfits.<br /> And part of the issue is, it’s hard to get real walking comfort without some utilitarian properties like a rugged sole, stretchy or breathable materials ( tech) , good straps. Sheesh!<br /> More support for building outfits from the feet / footwear up—I sometimes, maybe mostly now, need to identify what shoes( for a season or kind of use) my feet will allow, and build an outfit that complements that.<br /> It’s harder than I thought, and really gets to issues of “ imaginary outfits “. And I am notorious for only liking refined or even dainty sandals. I would happily wear them on walks if they were comfy. If you have a really good pedicure, you're set. They're not the most interesting sandal, but when you're looking for a comfortable walking sandal, you have to compromise a bit.
