I don't care if you have bunions or not. Those shoes are definitely NOT museum shoes. Unfortunately everyone in Bostom seemed to be wearing either Crocs, flipflops, or some other form of ugly sandal. Or reptile shoes.</p> <p>Ugly shoes always seem to be a trend. Though the more I shop for shoes, the less critical I think I can be. There are some people in the world who will just never find comfortable shoes (I know because I am one of them!). My temporary solution is to just wear my goofy Saucony sneakers (regardless of my outfit) and change into pretty shoes when I'm indoors. That doesn't help when I'm out with friends, but I guess that means I'll just be sticking to Cons in those situations (which is a shame because it's one of those times where I want to dress a little nicer). That's my solution, but for others, the solution might just be to bite the bullet and wear ugly shoes. I'm going to try out some shoes that Angie recommended to me, but I am not holding my breath at this point. I have been looking for comfortable, attractive walking shoes for summer since college. There is no reason for me to expect to find them now. My BIL gave them to him for a xmas present. I think they are for surfing or mountain climbing? DH doesn't do either of those sports, but he does wear them around the house and out in the yard to do yardwork or for boating/swimming where there are rocks. He says they are comfortable - just a little difficult to get on to your feet. </p> <p>Also, apparently they are great for people with bunions!!!
