Will not counting thrifting leave you with a closet full of things bound for the donate bag? If that allows you to experiment at minimal cost, is that ok? I used to make some pretty poor thrifting choices, but I've learned to take off the thrift goggles and treat thrifting like any other shopping, mostly. I'm debating whether to count thrifting against my list. Right now, I'm only going to the consignment store that I sell my stuff to. They get some good stuff. I got a pair of J Brand jeans last year that still had the tags on there. If you leave the tags on, you have 30 days to return. I just got 2 things on my list from there. Grey BF jeans and a black short trench. The trench still had tags on. The trench is a little risky because it combines two items that I like in theory, but just never wear. I plan to wear it like a blazer. I love blazers but just feel way too conservative in them. I have a full length trench that I thrifted long ago. It's a lot of coat on short me, and it looks tired. I don't mind losing a few bucks if it doesn't work out. Last, what I wore today.  Temps have dropped way down, so old cashmere tunic came out with jersey churidars (superlong scrunchy leggings)).  :) Just sharing, but feel free to leave comments if so inspired!
