A scrunched sleeve would look good to scrunched up to the elbow. Tshirt sleeves can create a funny line and in these pictures adds a volume at the shoulder that I find not as attractive as the slimline look of a more fitted sleeve. Personally I don't need convincing on the vest but I would be interested to see this styled with the other short sleeved tops you might be considering. I would also love to see it with a sleeveless top.
