I break them up, and wear the cardigans over interesting blouses. The shells work well with a denim jacket or blazer as a layer. But it can look matronly and boring when paired with the matching shell. But, the cardis have a great fit and are plain enough to take on the look of whatever they're paired with. With a fine white button down they become modern. With a tank top, jeans a a cool belt they can take on a an edgier feel. I am wearing a baby blue one in my profile photo paired with dark wash jeans, funky sandals and a cross body bag. Even then, not sure how long the skirts will stay in rotation when the snow starts. </p>
