And i like burgundy.   I have considered that I would like red monochromatic  with the bottom toned down, like burgundy, wine, etc,.  I really don't like bright red bottoms on me, but love it on top.  And I do plan to wear some darker bottoms.  Hope you can make sense of all my rambling here.  And any more ideas or suggestions, I welcome. If so, I'd say the red & white could go well together with grey, blush pink, mint green & lavender. In addition to blue denim bottoms, I suggest wearing it with white denim bottoms or with bottoms in navy or grey. Try various greys, from silver grey to medium grey to charcoal. The latter would probably kind of bookend your hair. Bottoms with patterns (eg. checks. stripes, polkadots) that include either red or white or both of these colours would be fun and sophisticated. To update, wear the twin set with something that you wouldn’t have worn it with when you first bought it 12-15 years ago. Anything you want to wear is fine. They sound like the go together but are not rally matching. Even if they are, who cares. If you like the look is all that matters. If I understand correctly, yours has one sold white piece under a red and white piece? Anonymous on "Twin Sets" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/twin-sets#post-2226973 Sat, 25 Sep 2021 04:12:14 +0000 Anonymous 2226973@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Pictures? bridgie on "Twin Sets" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/twin-sets#post-2226963 Sat, 25 Sep 2021 03:43:21 +0000 bridgie 2226963@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ I know we have talked about twin sets before and they are actually outdated.  I have a twin set 12 to 15 years old and not worn for several years and not worn a lot when I did wear it.  Both are fine knit, red and white.  The optic white, still looks good, no discoloration whatsoever and the red, not faded and very vibrant.  The inside sweater, solid white is like a shell, sleeveless, and with nice vertical,  delicate ribbing on each side from armholes to bottom of sweater, a V NECK , my favored neckline, fits perfect, feels perfect.  The top sweater, red with two white stripes at bottom ends of sleeves, two  medium size white horizontal stripes around the bottom of sweater and ending stripe red.  And it has the same vertical white stripe from bottom of sweater to armhole on each side.  Now my question, what could I wear with each piece, and it wouldn't look like a twinset?  Personally I love them together but its obvious they are a twinset and outdated.  Or should I let them go. Getting things together to wear with my new salt and pepper hair.  lol Thanks for the good forthcoming ideas/and or comments.
