I like this updated toile pattern, and it is just gorgeous on you. It looks like the blush pink trousers you are wearing with it go really nicely. I was thinking the same as Suntiger, to go with some dark red or burgundy if you had a match. But also cream trousers or jeans, or any shade of denim would look super fab, as others have suggested. I bet you would have just the right sneakers to complete the outfit with a casual feel. Black will be beautiful, too, especially if you want to go dressy, for an evening event or holiday party when the time comes. I can see the jacket alone over a shift dress with pretty sandals for summer. It reminds me of my nieces vintage dishes that are in reds on a white background. From a distance the reds and white look pink. You could style with black or white and I like the top with the pink trousers you are wearing. I have worn it a few times, but not as much as my other tops - I wear solid colors much more frequently than patterns. It is all good though, I am glad I have this blouse in my wardrobe.<br /> Later on, I saw a matching jacket in an outlet clearance. I bought it. The idea was to create an interesting and different kind of a twinset. The jacket is very nice - well cut in beautiful thick cotton fabric with large gold buttons.</p> <p>The jacket is quite a bit shorter than the blouse and the blouse has full length sleeves. My idea was not to tuck the blouse and create interesting layering. </p> <p>The two pieces look nice together, but I have not worn the combination yet. It is very dressy and although I don’t mind wearing dressy outfits on normal days, I struggle styling this. This is where I would appreciate your advice. Below pictures of the blouse, jacket and me wearing the blouse before I got the jacket.<br /> What I can imagine is to combine the twin set with cream trousers - which I have. But I don’t know which bag, jewelry, shoes in order to dress this set down and make it more casual and modern.<br /> What do you think?
