I bought some new dark blue denim jeans with a braid of black faux leather down the outside seams to wear with my tuxedo jacket. Look for dressy tops ( mine are sequined) to wear under the jacket for dressy occasions. It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it! I just went to the YSL online shop - there are several variations, all exquisite. Unfortunately they don't show anything on a model, so hard to tell how slouchy the pants are, but I can visualize the look. Your closet, your life, your budget! Only caveat, just give it a second thought or two regarding how much you'll really wear it. And is obvs (embarrassingly) priced accordingly. </p> <p>This jacket is short, not like the developing trend of longer jackets. Will it date poorly? Is it worth the spendiness?</p> <p>I haven’t seen the available matching pants as it would have to be ordered in. </p>
