Mini + leggings + sweater = total cuteness!

This outfit puts a smile on my face. I really like the pink sweater by itself without the turtleneck underneath.

I think the pink is a really lovely color on you. The sweater, brown skirt, belted combo is my absolute favorite, it makes your already fabulous figure look even more fantastic (and you could do this with or without the turtleneck depending on the tempertaure).

Not sure how to do the sweater with pants (unless you have some super cool, very high waisted shorts....hmm...that with tights could look cool).

Love it belted with the skirt! What great curves you have! (I'd ditch the turtleneck though - unnecessary with the pink sweater and skirt.)

ETA: but keep in mind, I am not a lover of turtlenecks - so my advise is truly biased!

Oh how about pairing it with dressy shorts? Maybe showing more leg with the shorts will help make the sweater not appear too short?

Jonesy I did try that last winter (see pic) but my straight skirts are black and I'm not feeling pink with black lately. I'm kind of off black with other brighter colors in general . . .
To eveyone else, thanks for weighing in. I notice some of you feel, like I, that the turtleneck is kinda not needed with the skirt.
I had a thought that maybe the original try with jeans could look a little less short with a scarf hanging down vertically? Maybe I'm just getting desperate in wanting to find a way to pair it with pants lol.

I think I'd like to see the cowl neck on its own, no belt, with a different skirt (maybe something a bit shorter/straighter like a pencil skirt?). Just my two cents :).

I like the hour glass shape the belt adds to the skirt outfit. I don't think you need the white t-neck under it.

The pink with the deep browns is GORGEOUS on you!!

The pink sweater with the belt and skirt is lovely. As others have said, the sweater with jeans, is too short on it's own. I like the layering idea, but I would choose a lower contrast for the turtleneck. Perhaps a black one to match the skirt instead?

EDIT: thanks Kim. Not too bulky?

Okay, here is a skirt attempt. It felt kind of unfinished somehow at the waist, so I tried a belt. But the sweater rib is a bit bulky under it. Then again, I never wear belts so it may just be me. Oh, and I feel the turtleneck becomes unnecessary here. [shrug]?

Kim and Dianthus, fair enough I, too, wish the sweater were (queue Max Smart voice) that much longer. But I'm trying to rescue it . . . I do think it would look nice with my chocolate brown skirt. Might have to give that a try as well.

I like the idea and the neckline combination works well to my eye. I do think the pink top could be a few inches longer to make it work better.

it's not BAD, it just doesn't strike me as the most current look. I remember this type of look from a few years back.
However, I'd have no problem sporting this look for a casual day bopping around Tahoe. Definitely more stylish than gear.

Hee hee - barely meets the waist. That was part of the thinking of the t-neck peeking out to visually lengthen it. No go?

hmm, I don't mind it as a casual snow day look, but I think this would look even more stylish with a skirt.. tuck in the under layer and leave the pink sweater untucked. That pink sweater seems really short to wear with jeans. Does it even meet the waistband of the jeans?

At first I think, no that'd be crazy with competing necklines but then I think, hmm, maybe they're mirroring each other's shapes.
The idea is the pink ribbed cowlneck angora sweater with a white tissue weight turtleneck under, with the bottom hanging below for more length coverage. And in winter, with my off white sweater boots and skinny jeans. What do we think?
