My guess is that rounding out a pointy toe, given that it would involve alterations to the sole as well, would cost more than that. And -- the biggest consideration -- even if you decided it was worth it, you wouldn't know until you were finished whether your cobbler had enough expertise to do a convincing job.</p> <p>With everything involved, it seems like that money would be better spent on a new pair. But that said - I'm very interested to know your shoe person's opinion!
