For whatever reason, I cannot get the *collect* button to work on my computer, but I've got this white T:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ha.....n=wishlist
I need to wear a nude-on-me T-shirt bra underneath, and sized down a little so that the shoulders fit and the neckline doesn't dip down too far. I find that the necklines on regular sized Ts don't hit me high enough. This T went on sale during NAS, so I suppose it may go on sale at that time every year. It is an all cotton drapey T. In my experience, thicker Ts like Lands End ones don't really drape but absolutely don't show through at all.

I have a cream Three Dots T shirt that is excellent quality. I bought it a few years ago so I don't know what they are like now. Also, Three Dots basic T shirts can be hard to find. Pricey but they last for years. No need to wear a cami.

Everlane white cotton tees are pretty opaque. Not opaque enough that you could wear a black bra, but fine without a cami.

I second Eddie Bauer and LLB as having thicker material than most other places. I don't have any experience with Land's End. J. Jill *might* have something opaque, since their stuff is usually high quality, but I have a t-shirt from them from several years ago that was very flimsy.

I have a tee that is just opaque enough, and it's from Banana Republic. It's their Timeless Tee. It's a crewneck.

Sounds unlikely, but Kmart. Route 66. I sized up (they shrink about an inch in length). Not super fancy or stylish, but for under $10 a good basic. Not see through and very soft 100% cotton. http://www.kmart.com/route-66-.....ockType=G5

I find that the catalog retailers like Lands End, Eddie Bauer, LL Bean are often good places to look for something like this that's thick enough not to be translucent. Not always the most fashion forward shapes but better quality, thicker fabric.

Uniqlo- I will give them a try. I have a trip to San Francisco in October and I have them on my radar! I got a chambray shirt from there a few months back (on another trip) and it has worked out well.

Ah, the elusive white tee shirt. I found mine at Uniglo. I'm not sure they have them on line anymore but I saw a small table of them in store last month. Gap usually has essential tees year round too.

I just spent several hours at our large local mall (BR, AT, Loft, Nordstom's, Madewell, JCrew, etc) looking for a plain white TShirt that was substantial enough to be without a camisole. The only ones I could find were pretty see-through and would require layering which, since I live in a hot climate, defeats the purpose of the TShirt. Any recommendations for opaque white tees? (I should add I am petite- usually an XSP or XXS regular). Thanks in advance for any help.
