I was trying to make these very European 70's style sandals work (they are soooo comfy) by contrasting them with the yellow, but a nude footwear would give the skirt a different vibe. It might actually work better with this specific skirt. And another good point about the darkness of the second outfit. I had not thought about this. But so true! Now that I am back from Morocco, I keep forgetting that summer wear here is special, because summer is so short. In Morocco I acquired a lot of darker light-wear clothes, because you end up wearing it throughout the year. So it's a good reminder from you.
