I love monochrome. Reminds me of a funny story from the 80s. I was wearing a monochrome outfit and must have had 2 similar pairs of brogue like shoes. A co-worker reminded me years later that I had deliberately worn one black shoe and one white shoe. Even I had forgotten! Shades of Helena Bonham-Carter. I'm not seeing summer shoe displays yet in my region (I'm in New Hampshire, we're finally getting some above-freezing weather this week). </p> <p>I've also noticed that most retailers don't stock many black shoes in the summer.
