Thank you lovely ladies for the kind words and wisdom!

La Belle Demimodaine, will definitely check out that YouTube page! Yess I'm familiar with that YouTuber -- love her thoughts on Kibbe styling.

Phoebe, I first came across Kibbe and the descriptions of Yin and Yang at The Concept Wardrobe's website. I found the Yin and Yang insights particularly eye-opening, and I'm glad you do too.

Lynne, so very kind of you! Yes, the point really is to enjoy it all, in the end, isn't it? :)

La Belle Demimodaine, that YouTube channel is so interesting! I identify pretty strongly with the soft classic type, and I love her repeated use of the word "accurate" in describing it :).

Natasha, you look amazing, I can't really pigeon-hole you, but whichever type you end up identifying with, enjoy it :)!

Thank you for posting! I like that you are drawing from different theories. I am curious about Kibbe but reluctant to go as far as investing so La Belle Demimondaine's suggestion might be interesting for me too.

What resource did you use to analyze the yin and yang?

Hi, Natasha! So the very very best explanations I have ever seen about what these types are, in 2020, and how to ID your type, etc., are on Aly Art's YouTube channel. It's a rabbit hole. Make yourself some coffee, and get comfortable, you're going to be watching these videos for awhile!

But seriously, she has great content about Kibbe. Her videos really helped me pin down a lot of Theatrical Romantic elements.

Hello all! New poster here! What a lovely forum.
I'm a little stumped on my Kibbe body type-- and would love any help figuring this out!
Photos here of me and some potential matching body types: https://photos.app.goo.gl/gdSh6hTJQ9u2N4fu9

Context:
I'm 5'5, about 117 pounds, and with a mix of athletic and soft build.
My face and body are a mix of ying and yang. Pics below.

My face is mix of soft (cheeks/pointed chin) and prominent/harsher features (nose and eyes).

Body is a mix of lean athletic and soft, with a fairly strong vertical line--

I have a very lean/narrow top frame but with a larger chest.

I also have a slightly thicker bottom half.

Overall quite proportional, with small waist and standard hips, thin arms and head.

My result:
I thought I'd be a soft dramatic because of my mix of yin and yang all over + facial features + big hair. However, I don't feel as "lengthy" as the examples, nor do i feel like my body is as broad/fleshy.

Any thoughts would be appreciated -- and any styling tips you have!
