Thanks everyone for your feedback - I will try again with a belt and more of a front tuck. I used to wear belts all the time but got out of the habit.

The black pants and striped sweater are a great classic combo! I think a center semi-tuck would look more intentional than the side semi-tuck. To me, side semis always look like someone rushed to get dressed, LOL! A belt (with a silver-colored buckle) would finish the semi-tuck nicely.

Frannieb, I can see why this sweater is a workhorse. It looks great on you, and I like it with the black pants. I do like the semi-tuck on you. To me, it adds interest and style to the outfit, though the simple lines of the top worn out would look stylish, too. I agree that you should try a center semi-tuck, too. See how you like it!

I think a front half tuck would be more flattering (but maybe I'm biased because the front tuck is the only one I do). I really like the sweater; it's a great color combo on you.

I think everyone can wear the half tuck! It would be fun to see it in the front as well to compare.

This week I had some great outfits - no pics to document, I forgot every morning and was working such long hours that when I got home I jumped into pajamas
This is my first attempt at a half tuck
Black pants a favorite red striped summer sweater. This sweater is a workhorse. I usually wear it with a pencil skirt or over a sheath dress. I feel it need to be worn over something lean because of the volume.
Comments appreciated - Does it work or not. As a curvy person hard to know if the half tuck is something I should even be trying.
