I like this on you. But I am not sure how much I enjoy it myself. I like subtle pattern mixing with accessories but I am a bit skeptical of going all out and doing it in big doses like striped pants with floral top or something similar! I think I will give it a try one of these days. I have seen a lot of people rocking it.

Yes, I think stripes + patterns are a good starting point. The other thing I think that works to start out is look for patterns of the same scale, or very different scales. So a big floral print with a tiny dot print, or big stripes with small dots.

I think this looks great!

This is great! I really like pattern mixing with stripes -- they're the easiest to work with, I think.

You look great. Dots and stripes is a great place to start with pattern mixing. Next you can take either a stripe or dot and mix with a slightly more complex pattern like a floral. It makes it a bit easier here if you have a common color in the two pieces. Another fun way to incorporate pattern mixing in smaller doses is with accessories -- shoes, handbags, etc. So much fun!

I like it! I'm not really a pattern mixing expert, but I guess the easiest way would be to pair geometrical patterns like stripes and polka dots in the same colors. The next step would be the combination of different patterns that have only one color in common. But as I said, I'm not an expert...

I know pattern mixing has been on trend for a while but I have stayed away from this trend, that is until now. I never really disliked the trend but somehow I didn’t find it interesting enough to wear.

However, a couple of days back I had to go out after work and I just put this outfit together without realizing that I was indulging in pattern mixing.

I kind of liked the whole striped and polka combo. What do you think of this outfuit? Do you like pattern-mixing? I would be glad to know any tips you might have on making this trend a little easier to wear.
