If there is I'd like to figure it out, though. I do think even if these don't work with shorter tops they will give a more flattering line with sweaters or knits that tend to settle into my pants' waistline. They are a couple of fingers below my true waist though. Maybe I need to go even higher? My current go to comfiest pair of jeans are gap girlfriends. These are her higher waisted cropped cousin.</p> <p>These pics are straight out of the shipping bag. I know the fit will change a little with a day's wear. I'll post pics of where they've settled to later tonight.</p> <p>firstly, they're comfy right off the bat. It feels really weird to have pants at my waist and these are really up there, probably 2 inches above navel.</p> <p>I like them with the longer shirts that come to my hip and cover my belly. I'm not sure I would wear them out with the shorter top. I wonder if a darker rinse would make me less tum conscious? But then they'd practically be a duplicate of the girlfriends I have. </p>
