You have made me a convert. I think low contrast patterned pants are a great way to change up dark bottoms! Wow! The berry is a great color here--it reads fall/winter and looks so vibrant against the bottoms. Don't swap out the black shoes--what are they by the way? I think the black works seamlessly here--I don't think dark brown would work nearly as well. I do think a dark charcoal grey would work if that is an option. The only thing I would change is the hoodie. It doesn't seem to marry well with the rest of the outfit. &nbsp;I also want the black scarf added to 15. Fabulous capsule, Lisa! On the other hand, the leather, scarf, burgundy top and camo look is magnificent on you. </p> <p>What shade of brown are you thinking of for booties? Medium or dark brown could go with just about everything as well as black does. </p> <p>Not sure why you're in the black/brown dilemma--maybe you'll comment on that. </p> <p>Having the two different black shoes seems fine to me. If you want (versus think you need to have) variety, other neutrals or colors could be as interesting or more than brown. </p> <p>It does seem brown would work here and with grey, if the mood and line of the shoes and the clothes works together, too. I'm in the most-neutrals-play-well-together camp and generally like to see interesting pairings of neutrals. I think a lot can depend on shade and tone for shoes. </p> <p>A lighter medium to light brown could bookend your hair, true. Possibly at the expense of leg lengthening and color coherence with the clothes? Not sure. I might need to see pics. </p> <p>I'm not anti-brown in general, or for you, or for this capsule. I'm in a transition from blacks to browns and greys myself. Just not clear about the wardrobe goal with browns and this capsule. </p> <p>If the brown appeals to you, try it out. If you're worried about too much black for this capsule in particular, I would say don't worry. The capsule is strong and fun and you look rather 007ish in it somehow.
