The other two dresses are fine but don't make my heart skip a beat. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/trying-out-a-few-more-wedding-guest-dress#post-1227345 Sat, 19 Apr 2014 17:30:37 +0000 Makrame 1227345@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>This is a continuation of the dress search for a fall wedding (late September, countryside/farmhouse setting). &nbsp;I am certainly not in a rush since the wedding is far away but whenever I come across something that looks promising, I try the dresses on. &nbsp;The previous iteration was posted here -&nbsp;<a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/kr-dresses-1">http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/kr-dresses-1</a>&nbsp;- I returned all dresses (except for the last one, which I already own). &nbsp;The only problem with the dress I already have (#1)&nbsp;is that it is a bit tight around the waist.</p> <p>Here are a couple more possibilities. &nbsp;#2 is a Maggie London ponte sheath dress -&nbsp;a strange neckline? &nbsp;The only potential&nbsp;topper I have for this dress&nbsp;is this black&nbsp;cropped cardigan.</p> <p>#3 is a polka-dot dress from Ann Taylor, which I am showing&nbsp;with potential toppers (Nic and Zoe cardigans)&nbsp;and shoes that I already own. &nbsp;I like that it skims over the belly and is long enough but there is something overly girlish about the fit-and-flare shape.</p> <p>#4 is origami dress from JCrew in dark navy. &nbsp;Not sure whether navy paired with black (as in black and white clutch) is problematic. &nbsp;Of course, a bigger challenge would be to find a topper that would work with this neckline - I do have a wide silvery scarf/shawl which might possibly work.</p> <p>What are your thoughts? &nbsp;Thanks in advance for any suggestions!</p>
