I love love love number 2, hands down favorite, both with and without the cardigan! It is such a unique and discreetly sexy dress. I think this is a perfect outfit that looks beautiful on you, and will garner a lot of (envious) compliments!

And it's great that you have the cardi option if you wind up someplace chilly.

I like #2. The colours and fit are gorgeous on you. IMHO the dress is the most important thing. You can always find a pashima if you don't like the shrug idea. It is always hard to predict September weather.

I think #2 is just stunning - and between the colors and cut you look amazing in it. If you're concerned with finding an appropriate topper I think even a basic black pashmina type shawl would work in case you get cold.

I think #4 is absolutely gorgeous but I hear you about the difficulty of finding a suitable topper. I always have this issue myself and often just default to a big pashmina, which is fine but not all that practical if it's actually cold rather than just a bit nippy.

I'm a complete spanner. I like #2 best by far. And the black shrug is great with it if you want to cover your arms. (You don't need to though). Finish off the look with your black Okalas and a clutch.

The J. Crew one is very elegant looking, but it's true that it might be difficult to find a topper to work with it. Ditto for #2 -- the colours there are gorgeous on you, but I don't think it looks as good with a topper. I applaud you for continuing the search. Either of those dresses would be lovely - but if you need a topper, I'd keep looking.

I liked 3 (I admit I love that shape and polka dots!) and 4 for you. I liked the shapes particularly the neckline on 4. The shawl sounds nice. Since it's September, perhaps you won't need a topper the entire day? The neckline of 4 is really lovely and it does seem it would be hard to find the right topper.

I love #4 if you can find a topper to keep warm. Maybe just s simple wrap? Such an interesting neckline and very flattering! My other favorite is #2 because I really like those colors on you.

My favorite is #3. It fits well and seems fun. I don't fit it too girly. I probably would wear it with a dark topper or a shawl.

I like the colors of #2 but don't think the fit is as good on you. #1 is more serious, not as festive for a wedding.

I'll be curious to see what others think.

The J Crew dress is stunning in a sophisticated, minimalist way. It's my favorite by a mile.
#2 is nice if you want something brighter and more festive looking. The colors look really pretty on you.

I like the unique neckline of 2 but I think it looks best on its own; with a topper it's a bit busy. So for September you may want something that works with a jacket. I really like 3, it's charming and would look cute with a colored topper and shoes. It has a free flowing simplicity that I would think would work well for a country wedding occasion. The other two dresses are fine but don't make my heart skip a beat.

This is a continuation of the dress search for a fall wedding (late September, countryside/farmhouse setting). I am certainly not in a rush since the wedding is far away but whenever I come across something that looks promising, I try the dresses on. The previous iteration was posted here - http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/kr-dresses-1 - I returned all dresses (except for the last one, which I already own). The only problem with the dress I already have (#1) is that it is a bit tight around the waist.

Here are a couple more possibilities. #2 is a Maggie London ponte sheath dress - a strange neckline? The only potential topper I have for this dress is this black cropped cardigan.

#3 is a polka-dot dress from Ann Taylor, which I am showing with potential toppers (Nic and Zoe cardigans) and shoes that I already own. I like that it skims over the belly and is long enough but there is something overly girlish about the fit-and-flare shape.

#4 is origami dress from JCrew in dark navy. Not sure whether navy paired with black (as in black and white clutch) is problematic. Of course, a bigger challenge would be to find a topper that would work with this neckline - I do have a wide silvery scarf/shawl which might possibly work.

What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
