I like the way you are mixing the light colours up here with the earthy jacket -- nice for transitional weather.&nbsp;</p> <p>I understand what you say about barrels being harder to style with boots. I think that may be particularly true for those of us who are shorter and wear our barrels shorter. Speaking for myself, I find the structure of ankle showing makes a big difference in how I feel in that silhouette. So I mainly wear my barrels in the spring/ summer/ fall when bare ankle bones are a possibility.&nbsp;</p> <p>Wide legs work fine with boots -- at least I think so. If you get the length right, it's not a problem. I am delighted there are so many shapes available at the moment. I wore relaxed skinnies and boyfriend jeans until very recently but as a late adapter I am now embracing some new styles. I am posting a few different pairs the pictures are just trying on different combinations of tops shoes and jackets to see what works.
