That's great advice.</p> <p>When I bought it, I was wearing slim black pants and it looked great. I think it looks good with the pencil skirt. I also have another pencil skirt, exactly the same cut, with a dramatic floral placement print on a black background. I think it will look good with that too (although I haven't had a chance to try it yet). If you like it enough to build capsules around it, that's okay too, it's just different.</p> <p>I say this because one of my goals is to be sure I know in advance if an item I'm adding actually does work the way I think it will, and to decide if it's versatile enough. It's just too restrictive though and I think it's holding me back from experimenting and putting together some great outfits.</p> <p>Today I'm wearing something that I would never normally choose. It's loose and boxy, not really flattering on my shape, but not really ugly either. It feels JFE. I'm surprsied! I really like it and I think this could be one of my new basics.
