It's a little tricky to get the proportions right, I think. Vest length, shirt length, blazer length -- I found that if the lengths are all the same it looks wrong, but there seems to be a balance point where the varying lengths work best. At least on my body! And I actually enjoyed it -- it was cozy and I liked the twist, since I have worn the vest over a denim jacket before, but not a blazer, and I actually liked the different lengths of the layers. </p> <p>When I warmed up a bit, the vest came off and the blazer and color-blocked top underneath looked polished together, but a little dressier. I carried my metallic clutch, which felt just right since it picks up tones in the boots and the vest and added just a touch of shine.</p> <p>Oh, Jewell, I meant to respond. I like the idea of pulled-up hair with this, but my hair is not really long enough to pull up. It kind of ends right where the furry vest begins.
