They may have had numerous complaints. </p> <p>I have looked in vain for ways to ameliorate this in advance with a wool jacket. It seems like dry cleaning in advance of wearing won't prevent the problem. It results from manufacturers not using the proper dyes on wool; otherwise wool just doesn't transfer colour that way. Which is really a reason to hesitate.
