I like everything here. It all looks casually elevated but there is variety too! And definitely comfortable in the mid section.

The dark washed black skirt looks very useful - it is good to have a simple long loose comfortable skirt - I purchased a navy one for summer and got a lot of wear from it.

Suz - yes, will try the flip flops I got because they were so inexpensive to me. The arch feels promising but they may end up being wider than works.

Thanks Sharan. The lantern dress will be super comfortable and feels like I could wear it year round too.

Jamie - I do like bright colors. My wardrobe has become darker than I would like, so bringing in happy color is always a win.

Star - good advice on the top to the EF skirt. I may play around with try ons with tops I own. A lot of times I'm after a certain length, and knowing what works ahead of time makes getting dressed a lot easier.

Sisi - thank you. I think it is funny that the two items I was concerned about the shoulder width (pink dress and turquoise top) are the universal favorites in the comments.

Lyn67 - dress in picture 12 is the only one I can't wear to this party. It's in fact the one my friend will be wearing for her daughter's graduation.

I like the EF skirt more with the white top. @Jaileen :) Funny that I perceived this skirt like that because I have bought multiple grey items in the last year! Works with silver hair. I think my screen was not displaying the true colour, washed black denim colour sounds cool. Also next to the gorgeous colours of the other clothes it looked like the odd one out I guess. I can imagine the versatility it will provide but I personally would keep in mind to always zush it up a a little bit maybe with accessories or lipstick, or bright white or more a saturated colour on top. It may even look great with the fabulous turquoise top.

Your pendant really makes the look, too (your comment gave me a good laugh)! I do love the color of the pink eyelet dress on you--great find. I think all are keepers.

I used to wear them, yes. And might try again. They were great for my plantar fasciitis, at least the microwobbleboard styles. I had to give them up for a few years because they stopped making adjustable versions and without adjustment they were too wide for me and my ankle was in danger of twisting. I see they have some adjustable styles again now so I might give them another go. Hope they work for you!

Kyle - turquoise and white just feels so right for summer. I'm glad I have the combo in my wardrobe now. For the cobalt dress, I definitely couldn't go down or it would be too tight through the bust/shoulder area, so I'm possibly between sizes.

Thanks Suz. If I remember correctly, you have worn the footwear brand Fitflop? I am trying out my first pair that I got on super discount rack this spring. I am hoping the arch support will be comfortable for me.

Looks like you are well set for summer. I love the turquoise and white combo the most. Totally fab color for you. Those sandals are great and so comfy. I have them in the pinky-nude-to-me color.

The pink dress from Chico’s is my next favorite, followed by the bungee dress. Is it possible that the cobalt blue dress might be a little too large? Regardless, congratulations on your shopping success. It’s not always easy to find those just-right items that look great, too.

JAileen - agreed. Thanks for the laugh.

Mary Beth - thanks for your thoughts. I can see what you mean about the red and blue dress. It is a lot of pattern. I haven't worn the blue dress yet, and I've had it for a little while. That is always something I have to consider as to why I haven't already reached for it. And you are exactly listing my pluses for the EF skirt. Functional pockets on skirts and dresses are a real win when they happen. I don't need to put a kleenex in a pocket. I need to carry my phone! I am going to swing out the pink dress to the party this weekend and it should fit the occasion perfectly. My goal is to skip all actual graduations and go straight to the parties.

Roberta - I do think the bungee on the dress might help against wind. I would say it gives the dress a smidge of shape in that it comes in a bit narrower at the leg if pulled to that circumference.

I do understand the shrug on the EF skirt. The tricky part is I purchased it in store in a city I don't live in, so returning it could indeed be tricky. I can see myself getting a lot of wear from it, even as I acknowledge it doesn't gather the same excitement as the other try ons. Midi length skirts are often super helpful for my needs.

You look so cute, and you have some terrific finds! I will say, that red and blue Chico's dress - to my eye - is a bit overwhelming with the pattern and length. I am seeing the dress, not the wearer.

And I don't know what it is about the blue dress, but there's something that is a bit off for me, possibly the sleeve length.

Love love love the turquoise top and the pink dress on you. And the Eileen Fisher skirt. I know some of the other gals on the fence, but for me, this checks a lot of boxes: linen for hot weather, flattering length on you, the miracle of functional pockets, and a good non-black, dark neutral that would work well with brighter summer colors - such as your turquoise top, or the tee you're already wearing with it. It's a great alternative to shorts.

The blue and white Chicos dress and the EF dress are both great, and I think they are very versatile for dressing up or down.

Star - thanks for the feedback. Turquoise and white is such a fun combination to wear. In person the color of the EF skirt is probably close to a washed black denim. It is pretty sack like, which I think I am ok with. I consider it more though. And I was also surprised the pink dress didn't feel too bubblegum because the online photos definitely skew straight Barbie pink.

RobinF - I think like most others, I seem to prefer the pink to the blue dress. So I need to decide if I will also get enough wear from the blue.

Mirjana - more love for the pink dress. I was very surprised to see how much I enjoyed that pink shade on me. I'd kind of written off wearing most shades of pink and tried it simply because I was already going in the dressing room.

Thanks Suz. You have a good understanding of my situation and weather needs. I own one other Nordstrom gauze top and I am glad the turquoise one feels a bit more breezy. Always a help in the depths of summer. The blue dress may be warmer due to the longer sleeves, though this is a dress I might wear year round and just swap out the sandals for some low tan booties.

I think you have struck gold here! The only one I would not keep is the Eileen Fisher skirt, just because I think the dress is much better in that color and fabric. And also I don't like skirts, because I don't like an extra layer of fabric at my waist. I love the bungee dress, even if I don't quite get the point of the bungee cord itself. To keep it from blowing up in high winds?

These look like great purchases for your climate and your needs. I especially like the EF lantern dress (for all the reasons you've said), and the tiered dress. Cool, easy to wear, and sun-protective to a degree.

I'm sure you'd get a lot of wear from the turquoise top for the same reason. Also, I find the cotton gauze does not require ironing. I wear a shirt I got from the GAP a few years ago in that fabric a LOT for casual at-home summer stuff. (I returned an identical pink one because I realized I just won't wear some shades of pink, no matter how flattering, LOL!)

Re the two Chico's dresses pink and blue....while of course I am your partner in cobalt love and it looks amazing on you, I'm actually liking the pink a bit more for this occasion (a grad). It feels very feminine and festive and I love the drop waist, which should also help with your midsection woes. At the same time, it might be worth considering which you'd be likely to wear more. Is the blue one likely to be hotter because it has longer sleeves?

I think the bungee dress could make a great cover up. Smart idea.

The EF skirt sounds very cool and practical if you can live with the crease!

First of all, I can say keep all if you could afford them. All are great. The turquoise top is gorgeous on you especially with the white shorts and turquoise sandals. All dresses are lovely and you styled them nice. But I especially like the pink dress, may as i like this color and the last one red #12.

I love the pink dress on you! That is my favorite! The other items are fun too. The blue dress might be too similar to the pink but the longer sleeve could make a difference. I agree that the lantern dress looks good with a pendant necklace.

Oh Gosh Yes! You should keep them all. The only one I am not that crazy about is the Eileen Fisher skirt. It may be that the colour is not correct on my screen. Looks like a very dowdy grey and sack-ish. The turquoise top is absolutely gorgeous with the white. I think you should have more turquoise in your wardrobe as it really looks like your colour! The pink eyelet dress is my next favourite, so pretty and a very nice pink, not too 'bubblegum' IYKWIM. The bungee dress is my next favourite, love the shape and the interesting pattern. Great finds - you wear them well!
