For good-looking, washable men's pants, Dockers (by Levis) can't be beat. Lately Dockers has offered not only the usual khakis, but dressier, washable pants in many colors and patterns. Flat-front styles are best for slim guys. I buy hubby's pants at JCPenney, but I'm sure jcpenney.com has a good selection as well. They are consistently excellent quality and reasonably priced.

Hi
My suggestion would be to try blackberry or Louis Phillipe trousers. They have good fitting and might suit your husband's requirements. I would suggest you to check online for some more recognized brands. You may log onto http://www.shoppersstop.com/ and check latest collection of trousers from known brands.

Carolina, I don't think I have seen DK for men before but I will look for it when I go to the mall next time.

I think Donna Karan for men is overall for price/ quality/ style/ colors a reliable dept store brand, her menswear looks so simple and sleek.

The fit on those looks very similar to what he wears now; I'll check them out. I love shopping for men; especially so when they are agreeable. Glad you had a good shopping trip with the BF; I am sure he benefited from your excellent style advice.

I went trouser shopping with my boyfriend today and we had a lot of luck with Calvin Klein, specifically the "Dylan" fit.

http://www.macys.com/catalog/p.....64-_-MP564

I have to say, shopping for men is SO fun... loved it. The boy was surprisingly agreeable today too. I love what we got him.

Thanks for the suggestions Angie, I will check these out; I am slightly wary of H&M quality though.

I hope some of you stylish folk can help - Hubby is slim and athletic and doesn't have a dupa as Kristen would say. He wears cotton chinos and from BR for work and clothes from Zara/REI during weekends.

He wants slightly more dressy pants that are still machine washable. Which stores are likely to carry slim-fitting pants that would work for him? Most of the department store pants are too baggy on him and he does not like the quality at Gap.
