Angie - I'm 5'4", so on the shorter size, but I have reasonably long legs. I am definitely prepared to alter, so some advice on styles that would be easy to alter (or what I should be looking for) would really be appreciated!

Fi, how tall are you? Also, great pants often need waist adjustment. Are you prepared to alter?

I have done well with the Gap curvy fit
http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....=620844012

Banana Republic Jackson fit (formerly Contour)
http://bananarepublic.gap.com/.....o?cid=6867

and any trousers by BCBG Max Azria.
My sister is also very curvy (and tall) and she likes Gap's hip slung.

Yesterday I went to put on a pair of trousers (bootcut, workwear ones from Gap) only to find that they didn't fit me any longer as they are way too big on the waist. This means I have no (zilch, zero, nada, rien) trousers that I can wear to work.

It also means I am back to my pre-weightloss problem of buying trousers that fit.

Can any hourglasses out there suggest some brands (either UK or international) and styles that may fit or at least be altered easily?

Thank you!

Fi
