You are right: semi-tucking is challenging with a topper on. What I find looks decent is:</p> <p>1) you tuck the whole thing but drape it all blousy/blouson like.<br /> 2) longer jacket</p> <p>I think Ceit's idea of a crop jacket is great too. If you're hourglass or pear (or even a rectangle/hourglass), it's worth a shot. This spells perfection in my books.&nbsp;</p> <p>But yes, I hear you on the problem with toppers. A longer one would solve the problem but sometimes I sort of finesse it by adjusting the degree of the semi tuck. While wearing the topper I tuck a bit more, and then I let it all hang out when the topper comes off. Not sure what to do about topper though -- I have moments of doubt too when styling semi-tucks. I think Ceit has some good advice here -- go cropped, or go long to cover the tails/give more balance.
