The distressing on this tan color made it feel better to me. </p> <p>Zap, in my other post I'd forgotten to fold the tongue down, and they were deemed too tall that way. Like this, they are about 2" below my knee, which is the same as most of my other tall boots. I am like you and prefer a taller shaft - I much prefer where those hit on my leg, as long as they taper at the top.
