I think the ruffle sweater looks really good on you, in the size you are wearing.

I like this on you but since it says handwash, it may shrink even if you wash as directed. So I think you were wise to pass.

BR (and GAP) sizing is so inconsistent - it's maddening.

i've been finding BR sizing very inconsistent this year…one size will be huge, the size down just not right….from the picture i think this fits well, but i know that sometimes it can look right, but not feel right….

This size is very flattering... But I'm gonna be the naysayer on this ruffle. I find it too... Street urchin...

You look gorgeous in this sweater! I was eyeing that sweater too. Thanks for modeling it for us.

I think you look better in this top (which is what I would call it) than the model!

As for the jeans, I hear you. I got them and like them on me but I had to fiddle with sizing for sure, going for petite but sizing up in those.

It's a cute style and looks great on you, especially with your jeans. If it's not the fit you want, though, it's good to hold out for another fun wildcard.

I'm always in between sizes. It's frustrating when ordering clothes - I always have to order two sizes. I do like the sweatshirt on you, though.

It does look fun and the gray makes it not too cutesy.

I do hear you on sizing though. I feel as if I am always in between 2 sizes! Probably mostly indecisiveness on fit goals. But, even in tailored items I like just the right amount of ease, and in the right places, or I feel too exposed, or the hems ride up. But then too much is sloppy. So some items work if sized up (or down) and others don't have the right "distribution" I'm looking for no matter what size.

Donna, thank you. It really is a nice touch of ruffle.

Angie, you are too kind. And it is a fun piece! I might reconsider it because I need a dose of fun in my closet that can be casual.

My appointment yesterday was right next to BR. I had five minutes so I popped in to try the ruffle trim sweatshirt from Angie's newest Fab Finds and the crop flare jeans. I did think the sweatshirt was a fun wildcard for me. I was swimming in my regular size so I sized down and I think it's too small. That seems to be a common problem lately, I'm between sizes. And just in case your interested, it's not really a sweatshirt, more of a thinner sweater so it's not bulky at all. I'm not wearing the crop flare jeans in the picture because I felt they were unflattering on me in both regular and petite. Sadly, I left empty handed.
