Yes, I have a couple friends (very different sizes, no less) who swear by True & Co bras. I have yet to try one, as I'm pretty set for underpinnings at the moment.

bj1111 & Janet --I haven't noticed any rolling issues. the pads are about the same as you find on some swim suits....I'd say, just enough for modesty, but not enough to add bulk.

greyscale, you can absolutely wear this with out the pads.

lisa p--- I think its similar to a sports bras but less constricting and a lot more shaping, at least compared to sports bras that I've tried

3style--I haven't tried that...

joy--I bought my recommended size. I think unless you were on the cusp of the size range if you sized up, you'd loose the support. but it is a bit of a pain to but on....

Is it essentially a sports bra in disguise? I admit to wearing a sports bra to work from time to time under a regular top - as I like the flattening and tightening effect. May sound weird but it makes me feel less dumpy that way. I'll keep an eye out for something like this in the lingerie dept next time I'm looking .

Can it be worn without the pads? I generally prefer unpadded bras (but I get shaped underwire bras to add structure).

I’m wondering if you’ve tried the “pull the straps down onto your upper arm and see if everything stays in place” test. I can’t support weight from the shoulders or bad things happen.

My most recent bra success was a $24 bra from Gap of all places. I'm glad you found something you like - I have a drawer full of near misses that I *try* to wear because I spent so much $$ on them. I'm slowly replacing.

Thank you for this review. I have been giving something like this a try...again. Years ago I tried something similar, pull on but did not have the removable cups. I felt that I should have sized up as one needed to be a contortionist to get it on. It also tended toward a uni-boob look.
Did you need to size up?

I'm skeptical of that style of bra because I have tried a few and they really don't work for me. I always want them to because they would be so comfortable but they tend to scrunch me together and just not fit right. Sure would love it if they worked though, so might be worth a try. I actually went bra shopping a week ago (ugh! worse than bathing suit shopping!) and wanted to try on a 34DD (usually a 36D-DD) and the store didn't even have any that size. I couldn't believe it. So I feel the pain of those of you with a small band size.

I am currently looking for a comfortable pull on bra. A few years ago i was going to try a Jenny bra. At that time Kohls had them in the store. Not my size though> I bought two cheap pull on bras that have removable cups at marshalls for sleeping. Now since i have lost weight I have been wearing them in the daytime. I am really liking them. Marshalls no longer has them, so I may try these you are recommending. Thanks.

Interesting. Ditto to bj1111’s questions, especially the rolling up issue. I have a couple of “around the house” bras that are minimal enough to be comfortable but don’t dare go out in public because they don’t give enough support. Pull-over bras rarely work for me because of my small band (32) and large cup size (F or even G these days, WTF?). But the bands are usually too big (hence the rolling up issue) or the cups too small.

I’ve been looking for something like that. Does the bottom roll up during the day? How padded are the cups?

Thanks for the field report.

feel funny writting a review of a bra but, i figured this is a brand that probably many of us haven't tried.
a few weeks ago, i was in Nordies cutting thru the lingerie dept when i saw a bralette and for some reason was inspired to try it....they didn't have that one in my size, but the SA suggested that i try this True and Co bra (started as a online only company, i think Nordies is the only place you can buy in store)....i've now worn it 4 or 5 times....and the verdict is in...Love it...it's not prefect, but its pretty darn close...

PRO's
~most comfortable bra i've ever owned
~really does "disappears underneath clothing"
~has removeable pads that you place or not, making the bra work for your shape
~fabric is comfortable and light- even on 90F days when outside
~provided support and shape, but looks natural

CON's
~its a pull over
~its got those removeable pads...need to keep track of them in the wash...and then fuss with them when you put the bra on....

Yes, the cons are the same things that make it what it is....what can i say.
i wear a pretty small band, but i'm a D cup...so i will say, i'm not sure how this would work for larger bands, but i would recomemned trying it if you are looking for a comfortable bra....
