I like the shape of the flare, though. It seems like most of what is available right now is cropped flares, and it makes it hard to get the right length, IMO. I prefer these flares with a heel.</p> <p>On the wide crops, I would vote for a trendier top. Maybe try tucking a top to show off the high waist? Good for you for trying something outside of your comfort zone. I'm doing the same thing, though with straight crops.</p> <p>LOVED the pink and white outfit. I like the low contrast. I’m a child of the 60s &amp; 70s, so I kind of feel like jeans are birthright. Until I started Jr High (7th grade) my mom would only allow to wear jeans to school once a week (gym day).<br /> And until last year, I couldn’t wear jeans to work. So now I feel like I did back in jr high—freedom. And this year I’ve really embraced the fashion denim-&amp; lucked out with finding a lot of good stuff-or at least what I think is good stuff- on sale.<br /> 1st up is a K/R. #1-4 Jcrew trouser jeans. I gad ordered the petite on line and they were hideously short! Wouldn’t even work barefoot. When I returned in store, they had the regular. Been a long time since I’ve worn anything but a skinny or straight full length. So I’m looking for some feedback. Fit? Length? I think they work with these booties &amp; slides, but are too long for sneakers. PPL police do you agree? </p> <p>Next up what I might wear. #5 Wide crops. Love the button front and the light color of these. Does the juxtaposition of trendy &amp; preppy work, or should a wear them with a more trendy top? </p> <p>What I did wear. #6, 8 &amp;9 From this week and last High waisted straights, skinny’s &amp; crops. (#7 is a mid-rise, uploaded that photo bu accident, but kept to show that not all jeans need to be super trending)</p> <p>As always all feedback and comments welcome. TIA </p>
