And perhaps fun socks at the security line will make even angry guards smile? Last year, I had an experience with a security guard who was really rude against passengers who didn't move fast enough. She was yelling to them--in languages they didn't understand, so of course that didn't help much. But it schocked those of us who understood the terrible words she used, and we had to ask her to calm down and try to be more patient and understanding with the people she was actually supposed to help. The blazer is for general extra warmth in the conference as these things are usually frigid. But with the excitement and nerves of giving my presentation, I think it would be too warm. I'm thinking, burgundy pants, grey shell, black lightweight cardigan, and necklace. At the height of security line hassle, I took of my shoes and had something to smile about (#1).</p> <p>I'm on my way to a 4 day conference in Portugal, where I give a talk on the last day so needed to bring something extra to wear that will be clean and fresh. For traveling I'm wearing leggings and a comfy dress and scarf.<br /> I've packed:<br /> Jeans<br /> Burgundy pants<br /> Navy and charcoal Tshirts<br /> grey shell<br /> Burgundy print blouse<br /> Cotton light grey pullover<br /> Black cardigan<br /> Black blazer<br /> Charcoal trenchcoat<br /> Scarves<br /> Black ankle boots</p> <p>Thanks for looking.
