I generally don't do that at home. </p> <p>Black tops are a year round staple for me, but I brought the long sleeve one to sleep in in case of cold. My dad's house was warm enough, plus he has a heavy comforter, so I didn't need it. It was more practical during the day to just toss my cardi over a tank or short sleeve top, and remove it as it warmed up.</p> <p>My wardrobe in general is nearly all dark. Yes maybe that makes me look like a tourist *shrugs*. I really didn't notice everyone that else was in light/bright colors with me in darks though, so didn't feel self conscious. I can go out to lunch or dinner or to shop. I used to wear church clothes all day. Now I am a bit more casual. Like Suz I wear mostly dress pants rather than jeans. But it is all pull- on. I am heavy on toppers to add warmth plus some style. They also extend outfits into different seasons. I started Spring early this year and so far the light colored woolies are getting a workout. All this fit in carry on. </p> <p>Toppers-packable puffer to the airport (removed the hood to pack smaller), and cardigan- worn daily. </p> <p>Long sleeve tops- kintsugi to fly, the solid black I didn't use. This is at least the second time I made that mistake.</p> <p>Short sleeve tops and sleeveless tops all got worn except one navy tank.</p> <p>Skirts- Ripskirt used for post pool, black and white for normal daily wear. </p> <p>Pants- harems and cargos (yay for pockets) and black pants (mad at self for sewing up pockets) all got worn.</p> <p>I slept in the same outfits I wore in the day to save space, and washed clothes twice on the trip.</p> <p>One change from last year is that I brought no gear at all. It worked out ok, except that I got soaked while paddling, and something quick dry would have been better. </p> <p>And here's a laugh- I was called "dressy" at the archery range. In cargos and a tank top. Wore the skirt there too a couple days. Didn't stop me in any way from hitting the target. I dress and get on with my day </p>
