Thanks Jonesy! That's the new Three Dots top I snagged off eBay and the moto is actually a light cotton. I wanted to dabble in the moto style but didn't want to plunk down hundreds of dollars for leather. Besides, living in FL right now, how often would I wear a leather coat?? It's turned out to be a very wearable and versatile piece so far!

As an aside, after my BF commented on me looking like I was in riding clothes LOL #12-14, I switched out the army green skinnies for my dark black J Brand skinnies. I think I have enough casual day tripping looks and the black pants should dress up a little better for nighttime

Agree about 7 and 14. I love the animal-print top, especially with the cropped light (leather?) jacket over it--very fab!

Oh, Isabel - he fits!! Here's when I first bought it and he *had* to see what it was all about. He's flown with me before, actually. Pretty good passenger . . . he'd love to come along but no can do! And yeah, 7 and 14 aren't happening lol. The crop moto is no longer coming aboard and the red tank will either go with the black skirt or not at all.

I also wasn't a big fan of 7 and 14...but the rest is lovely and make really good use of the shoes !

I won't let the weather beat me!! Switched the crop 3/4 sleeve moto for a cord blazer that hopefully still ties the cream flats in, and ditched the shorts all together in favor of a bright blue long sleeve tee for some color - #1. Since I likely won't be wearing a skirt sans leggings with the new forecast, the cargo skirt gets replaced by my zipper mini - #2. And I left home the [possibly too short anyway] print silk halter top and instead added a sweaterdress - #3. Done and done! lol Same number of pieces taking up basically the same amount of room in the duffel bag. whew. I'm exhausted!

Thanks to eveyone for the comments so far!

You've really worked out some fabulous outfits! I'm partial to the skirt - why not show off your runner's legs! - especially with the T-shirt in #21and the grey sweater in #12. Boots would rock the look, too!

Question: Does the orange travel bag on the left in #22-23 come with a shoulder strap? :-O

These look great. In 1 is it possible to untuck the top? I feel like if the top were longer the proportions with the cropped jacket would work better. (I would also pick on 7 and 14.)

Uh oh - the forecasted temps just went down by 10 degrees. But the rain chance is gone at least. Okay, time to remove the tanks in exchange for sleeves Sigh, back into the dressing room I suppose . . . the best laid plans lol.

#9,10, 12, and 13 are great casual evening out looks. I love that halter top on you--very cute! I prefer that silhouette to the skirt in #2. #2 looks a bit dark to me. I really like the skirt styled in 1 and 21--those look more like you (at least to me.) Love the dress in 3 and your travel day outfit! You've put together some great travel outfits, Mo. I'm always in such a rush packing that I just throw in what I think will work and end up disappointed when I feel less than stellar at my destination--your way is the way to do it : ) This is a great travel capsule.

These look great, Mo! I agree that layering the moto over the long vest (7 and 14) is a bit odd--love the rest.

Mo, you did fabulously with this! Without looking at any other comments, i'm going to say the only ones I don't love are 7 and 14 - something about the layering of dark over light looks weird to my eye in those particular outfits. Everything else is great! I'm going to copy you and put on all the outfits I *think* I'll wear before I pack them!

Off to read other feedback...

Thanks Jenava for having the patience and taking the time to comment on the pics! I agree about the bulkiness of the layering in 7 and 14. If it gets cold, I'll try the option in #13. Will have to think of ways to up the color factor . . . thanks again!

Not in love with 7/14...a bit bulky. I like the pop of color the red provides, but agree it's too short. What about adding a colored scarf, instead? I like those shorts, esp. with the birks.

My favorite is the dress. (-:

Right off the bat I'm seeing the red tank in #6/7 doesn't work with the pants. Will have to think about the black skirt with leggings and boots for that or just leave it at home. Pictures sure are helpful #18 isn't balanced either - that combo is out!

Okay, so I decided to heed the advice and start putting outfits together. After about the 10th incarnation I stopped adding all the possible top layers. It became obvious that I could pair the khaki moto or flowy black vest with most all of them. Most important was that I could wear any shoe option in case my feet really give me trouble. With that, I think I succeeded! And you'll notice everything fits in the bag barely larger than a kitty cat Even the shoes, scarf, undies, hat, belt, clutch . . . .Deep breath, here goes . . .

the outifts I had planned were
#1 for the daytime after I finish my race switching up a little to #2 for night
#5 for the plane trip there (wearing the boots so I carry less)
#3 for the day leaving and plane trip home (7pm flight)
#6 and/or 7 for Valentines late night music
#15 or #16 for renting bikes

So the green cashmere sweater and embellished black halter are just alternate choices particularly if it gets too cold.

Not pictured is my pink dress for Valentine's night which the BF will carry in his garment bag. I will pair the grey ruffle heels from #4 with it. So, that's the capsule. It sure does remix but I can't help but think I'm a little monotone. I guess that's the sacrifice if you want things to play well together lol.
Again, any thoughts on what doesn't work or any improvements, I'd love to hear it!! I did not add jewelry or my scarf, but they are packed along. Thanks for sticking this far with me
