The long range forecast does show some rain - but also highs of 28 - so I'm thinking - warm rain. Which will be delightful. Unlike the my last trip, I don't plan to spend a huge amount of time outside. I'll be inside 'conferencing', or hopefully, in the change rooms trying on stuff!!!<br />You made me smile Kelly - the capsule has been in my head for a while, as I'm driving back and forth from work, I've been picturing myself in Italy...and what I'm wearing. On Sunday I just threw it all in the spare room and had a monster try on session.<br />Makrame - good question! The patterned tan CK bag is going for sure. It &nbsp;can store a lot, is lightweight, and has a full zip, and a shoulder strap.&nbsp;If there is room, I'll take &nbsp;the reddish bag as well - it converts to a clutch and also has shoulder strap. &nbsp;I'm planning one carry on bag so there may be a few sacrifices.<br />Carol, Joy and KC - comfort is key - and thank you for weighing in on the black skinnies. Pretty well everything mixes and matches. I'll need business casual for the conference, and comfortable clothes for touring about.</p> <p>I'm taking 3 pairs of white pants - flares, bootcuts, and capris, 2 trousers, but am still debating whether to take&nbsp; a pair of jeans - or skinny (well sized up skinnies) black pants. The black skinnies might be a little dressier. What do you ladies think?</p> <p>I'm taking a mixed media blazer (waving to my blazer twin Ceit), as well as a dark denim jacket. Was thinking to take a cream trench, but given the weather (should be high 20s) don't think it will be necessary. I'll also have 3 pairs of shoes - black booties, taupey gray booties and a pair of white perforated leather oxfords. All footwear is well broken in and very comfortable.</p> <p>Suggestions for tweaks, additions? All thoughts/comments greatly appreciated!</p>
