Of course some pieces have worn out here and there but I have a formula that works for me.</p> <p>I plan to keep as a minimum level</p> <p>Two blazers or jackets<br /> Three pairs of pants/trousers<br /> One coat<br /> Two pairs of shoes<br /> Two smart knits/sweaters<br /> One blouse<br /> Two layering tops</p> <p>I have this at the moment and it is pretty easy. My light blazer and black sneakers are starting to show wear, as are my black wide leg trousers (not in the finds above). That’s okay for office based days moving forward but not good for the client facing days. Have a safe and wonderful trip! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/travel-capsule---work-and-pleasure#post-2370244 Tue, 17 Sep 2024 23:02:12 +0000 Sal 2370244@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I am off to a NZ city next week for four days of work and two days of weekend fun with DH and sons.&nbsp; Activities will include walking, eating out and working at a conference/convention.</p> <p>It is cold spring here - so a tricky time for travel!!&nbsp; The weather looks fine but chilly.&nbsp; It could snow.</p> <p>I had a shopping spree in the weekend and added three new pieces, which I am dying to wear once the weather warms up.&nbsp; I plan to take the new pants, but these may get left behind.</p> <ul> <li>Pants - new fisherman pants, one pair jeans, charcoal ankle pants, navy suit pants</li> <li>Coat - long wool coat, puffer jacket</li> <li>blazers - navy suit, light grey</li> <li>shirt - dark denim</li> <li>layers - navy and black turtlenecks, white tank, white tee, black wide neck, green cashmere</li> <li>Sweater - grey stripe</li> <li>Shoes - 2 x sneakers, 1 x green flats</li> <li>Bag - bone</li> </ul> <p>On top of this will be exercise gear and sneakers.&nbsp; I will probably add a scarf and beanie in as well. </p> <p>My coat does not work nicely with the bright green, but aside from this the capsule works well I think.&nbsp; I will likely wear that combo under the navy suit.</p> <p>I will try and take a photo every day and report back!!</p> </p>
