My kind of packing I would personally bring an extra pair of pants for a trip this long, simply because I don't like wearing the same pants on back to back days. It did strike me that this is a bit 'heavy' color scheme and I was looking for some spring-themed scarf to throw in, only to figure out I have a major wardrobe hole - scarves in solid colors. Me, of all people, to whom scarves are spilling out of the drawers almost. I did spot a great springy scarf a while back, but it was a bit thick and of unknown origin, plus pricey for second hand goods. That one would play nicely with this stuff though.&nbsp;<br /><br />Elisabeth :: my bottoms are jeans, skirt and I also have a dress. The bags for scarves are simple organza bags, I store my scarves like that to avoid pullings. It gives instant polish to anything.</li> <li>Top/blouse&nbsp;cheerful color. I do love and need my bold and cheerful&nbsp;colors.</li> <li>White top/blouse. This makes me feel refreshed instantly.</li> <li>Patterned top. Stripes, to be more specific. I prefer solids, but not even patterned scarves were enough the last time&nbsp;to make me not feel bored.</li> <li>Option for different silhouettes.&nbsp;</li> </ol> <br />It had all&nbsp;boiled down to this:</p> <p>1. I always start with color scheme, so neutrals + color/s that all mix and match. This time the choice is red, black and navy (white too). Actually, these are all neutrals.</p> <p>2. Red jacket - kills two birds at once, I have jacket and color in one.&nbsp;</p> <p>2a. (optional) Leather jacket - If I get lucky and the weather gets better, this might be the only topper I'll need. I'll only bring this because I have a luxury of the carboot but more because I can't wait to wear it again.</p> <p>3. Fit&amp;Flare coat that I can layer over the jacket - I would have never thought of trying these two I am bringing&nbsp;together had it not been for eye-opening advice about the coats on trips. Thanks Zap and thanks Suz for pointing it out. And given the temperatures in Europe I might need to layer heavily.</p> <p>4. <b><a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/keep-or-cry-trying-on-36-inseam-jeans">The new jeans</a></b>. I can't wait to wear them and break them in. Jeans are the staple of travel wardrobe for me, so no explanations are needed.</p> <p>5. <b><a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-sheath-goes-to-bookshop">My new sheath dress</a></b>. LBD, comfortable, option for different silhouette, need I go on.</p> <p>6. For even more lightweight wardrobe, I'd leave it out, as the dress covers the need for different silhouette, but the skirt leaves the tops I have more visible.</p> <p>7. Selected accessories and comfortable footwear to cover all occasions and my daily schedules.</p> <p>I hope I'll be able to photograph some outfits, I can't figure out where, when or how, but I too am keen to see all these pieces in action and lined up.</p> <p>Once again, thank you to everyone who posts their capsules, those threads are so educational.
